Battery Examination – Includes recording the specific gravity of each cell, recording the loaded voltage of each cell, inspecting the cables, connectors, and contact tips for any damage, inspecting the cell covers, intercell connectors, and post connections for any problems, as well as inspecting the general condition of the battery for signs of over-watering, corrosion, or positive post growth. We will furnish a summary of our findings with any recommendations and their cost.
Charger Examination – Includes recording the start rate and finish rate of each charger, adjusting the rates according to specification, inspecting the fuses, diodes, and transformers for problems, checking for any loose wires or fillings and tightening if necessary, inspecting the cables, connectors, and contact tips for any damage, and observing the control circuit for proper start up and termination of the charge. We will furnish you with a summary of our findings with any recommendations and their cost.
Battery Watering – At TIE we have introduced a plan which will take all the responsibility of the forklift battery topping and maintenance off your hands. Meaning you will have a plug and play system with your forklift, and the cost is neutral to just your internal topping costs! You will get visited by a fully trained professional battery operative who will provide a visit report including observations of use, photographs of any damage or areas of concern and visual inspections of your cables and plugs.
Our Autofill system makes this normally difficult and dirty job simple and quick. Standard vent caps are replaced with special caps incorporating valves. These are linked together and allow the batteries to be topped up very quickly and accurately. Please see our products page for more information.
